On the 21 September Alice hosted her first solo exhibition/ social experiment titled: The Stalked in Cape Town.
The concept sprouted from her fascination of how people construct their own “personal brands” on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
"As part of a year-long project I “stalked” 10 people at random on Facebook and Twitter and painted their profile pictures as 1mx1m oil paintings on canvas. I then invited them to the opening of the exhibition and also liaised with mutual friends to get them to there on the night. "
